Back to School Carnival
Friday and Saturday, August 20-21, 10am to 5pm
Celebrate the start of new school year at the Wonder Works Back To School Carnival. This free event gives kids and adults the chance to try their luck at games of skill and chance. Games include egg toss, miniature golf, potato sack races and much more. This event is covered by general admission.

Wonder Works Day at Cozi
Sunday, September 5, 7am to 9pm
Enjoy a fun family outing to Cosi Restaurant, located at 1101 Lake Street in downtown Oak Park, on Sunday, May 2, between 7am and 9pm, and Cosi will donate 10% of all purchases to Wonder Works! With delicious choices including signature salads, hot sandwiches, a delectable dessert menu (including roast-your-own s'mores) and a children's menu, there is sure to be something for everyone! With new teachers, new ideas, new techniques, new materials and best of all, the first week free! Wonder Works is Getting a New Mural!
September 15 to September 17, 12noon to 4pm
Abstract Mural Artist, Mary Ellen Wilson, will be donating her time and energy to give Wonder Works, a Children's Museum in Oak Park a new Mural in the Lights! Camera! Action! exhibit. The mural will consist of a fictitious audience for the children's stage; with prep work being done during the museum's annual clean up week, Sept 6 to Sept 14. The exciting part begins Wednesday, September 15, when she will be working in the public view from 12noon to 4pm each day from September 15 to September 17, then continuing her work September 22 to September 24 as needed until her work is complete. To view her work in progress, just stop by the museum during these times, it is covered by general admission.
