On April 23 and April 24, we celebrated Earth Day at Wonder Works! We kicked off the weekend with the opening of our new Maker Space in North Avenue Art Works. Using recycled materials, with guidance from our play specialists, children had the opportunity to build using a variety of techniques. We had story time featuring Earth Day, Birthday by Maureen Wright and The Boy Who Spoke to the Earth by Chris Burkard. We also had ceramic planters to paint and plant available for sale, just in time for Mother’s Day.
