Music with Miss Molly and her Ukulele – October 9 at 11am, October 23 at 11am

Twice this month, Miss Molly Morrell will come to Wonder Works Children’s Museum to lead children and caregivers in joyful song and dance. Many of the songs include social emotional learning components that encourage children to act their feelings while moving and dancing. The music class will be from 11am to 11:30am.

Author Reading from Avani Chhaya followed by craft activity – October 17 at 11am

Avani Chhaya will be reading her children’s book, Lakshmi at the Lake. Lakshmi’s week is chock-full of adventure! From admiring sprawling cypress trees with Mama to birding with Daddy, and packing parathas for picnics with Nani, Lakshmi is eager to explore every inch of the great outdoors. But she soon realizes there is much more to each place than meets the eye. What will she uncover at the lake? In a stirring story about the joys of being in nature, author Avani Chhaya reminds us that the greatest experiences, and even greater discoveries, can often be made in our own backyard and shared with the ones we love.

Mr. Brett from Double J Riding Club is bringing a whole crew of critters to meet — friendly snakes, a bearded dragon, a tarantula, and stick bugs!
