A leader in early childhood education, Wonder Works Children’s Museum has been sowing the lifelong seeds of learning in children for over 30 years. Focusing on ages 0-8 and their families, our nine interactive exhibits set the stage for novel and invigorating experiences in the arts, math, music, science, and literacy. Wonder Works has continued to evolve, growing our exhibits and strengthening our programming.
And now, we have a singular opportunity to grow even more…
LemonAid was established in 2002 in memory of the 9/11 attacks. LemonAid’s mission is to raise awareness and funds for local charities that serve children. On Friday, September 11, 2026 from 3-7pm, the 700 block of Bonnie Brae in River Forest will be transformed into a community festival where local children and families open their hearts and wallets to benefit the selected organizations, in the spirit of a lemonade stand fundraiser.
In 2024, Wonder Works was a designated recipient of LemonAid. This year will be the last year of LemonAid on Bonnie Brae in River Forest, and all the non-profits that have been a part of LemonAid since 2002 will be participating. Wonder Works Children’s Museum will be at LemonAid with a giant foam pit of fun! Come play with us in the foam at LemonAid.
This is an important opportunity for Wonder Works, and we need your help! Please make a donation to Wonder Works at LemonAid to ensure every child can experience the joy of learning through play!By donating today, you will make an impact in the lives of so many children.
