Join us for an Infant Massage Workshop on Sunday, November 15 from 8:30am-10am!
The workshop will be led by Heloise Stauff from Snuggly Start, Certified Educator of Infant Massage with Infant Massage USA.
Infant massage is one of the most natural things you can do with your baby, and one of the most powerful ways to get to know each other. This workshop gives you a real, hands-on introduction. You will leave with strokes you can use right away.
What we cover:
- The foundations of infant massage: consent, baby cues, and how to create a calm space for touch
- Leg and foot strokes
- Understanding why babies cry and how gentle, intentional touch can help you both find calm
Throughout the workshop there is space for your questions, your baby’s mood, and the conversations that come up naturally in a small, supported group.
For babies birth to 12 months.
What to bring: A blanket for your baby, plus everything you’d normally pack for an outing, like diapers, wipes, and food.
Older siblings are welcome too! We will have museum guides present to play with the children while the adults learn about infant massage with their babies.
This free parent education session is possible thanks to a grant from the Oak Park Township and River Forest Township Youth Services Committees.
Registration is request for this free event.
